Inspect the frame and locks
A foldable dog grooming table should open squarely with each leg brace fully engaged. Check for rocking on the actual floor before the dog approaches and never use damaged locks or fasteners.
Match the fixed working height
Most folding tables do not adjust vertically. Compare the deck height with the groomer’s elbow and the tasks performed, because a poor fit creates repeated bending even when the dog fits.
Plan storage before purchase
Published deck size is not the folded package size. Measure the folded thickness, arm storage, table weight and the route to the cupboard or vehicle so setup does not become unsafe.
