Electric vs hydraulic grooming table

Compare low height, speed, effort, power and maintenance.

Electric lift strengths

Electric grooming tables can offer very low entry positions and smooth height changes using foot controls. They need a suitable outlet, cord planning and a clear path for the moving base.

Hydraulic lift strengths

A hydraulic table raises through repeated foot-pump action and needs no electrical supply. Minimum height is often higher than a super-low electric model, so compare access rather than assuming every lift avoids lifting the dog.

Choose for the whole workday

Consider adjustment frequency, dog mobility, floor space, service availability and the groomer’s preferred control motion. Either design must be level, maintained and operated with the dog actively supervised.
