Dog grooming table size guide
Use standing footprint and turning room instead of breed labels alone.
Measure the standing dog
Measure from nose to the base of the tail while the dog stands naturally, then measure the widest stance. Add working margin so the dog can reposition without placing feet at the deck edge.
Treat capacity and size separately
A high weight rating describes a structural limit, not usable surface area. A long, light dog may outgrow a short table even when its weight is well below the published maximum.
Check the room around the deck
Allow space for the groomer, arm, loops, dryer hose and a supervised route on and off the table. Powered bases also need clearance through their complete height range.
